EPHAMERON
Hailing from Belgium, Ephameron was so excited about the NY4NY project that she stopped by New York City for three days to paint a mural. The art Ephameron makes is sensitive: with images and small texts she tries to recreate everyday feelings and thoughts, to capture moments in life with her art. Recurring themes like hands, birds and girls live in her fantasy world of emotions, colourless backgrounds and huge black tape drawings. Ephameron graduated in fine arts and illustrative design. Now she's a freelance illustrator, curator and designer. In her free time she likes to organize and contribute to worldwide exhibitions all over the world. Right now, she's working on books and illustrations, and teaching at an art college.

LEON REID IV
Leon Reid IV began his career in public art writing graffiti (a.k.a. VERBS) and quickly developed a knack for unconventional practices such as painting street signs and installing them during daylight disguised as a construction worker. His experiments in graffiti lead him to move beyond the genre and pursue site-specific installations under the pen-name Darius Jones. His humorous and romantic themes aim to speak to the average citizen and make art in the public truly accessible, and have been seen on the streets of London, Sao Paulo, Berlin, Paris and New York. He currently works with institutions and communities in the United States and through out the world and hopes to make a positive impact with his public art.

TOOFLY
Maria Castillo goes by the name TOOFLY, given to her by her graffiti peers back in the early 90s. As a teenage graffiti writer putting my name on a wall was exciting and rebellious. However, she enjoyed creating illustrations much more than tagging and created a female character to represent the person that she was. The image quickly gained popularity among young women given that there were very few women writing in the early 90s. Her warrior character's flowing hair and fierce attitude gave her strength to get through the trials and tribulations of being a female artist in a sometimes limiting, ego driven, and hyper-masculine graffiti culture. Over the years she also co-founded Younity, a women's urban art organization, and STAY TRU, an independent design company. Stay true to yourself and what you love.
